Our next scheduled shoot is for the weekend of August 19th (Sat.) and we'll be doing a walk down King Street. To avoid the heast, we start around 7:00am so bring a cup of Starbucks or whichever you prefer. Francis Marion SquaRE is the location.

Heather,

I never got your email address from the litte suaree two weeks ago...did you get mine - thought I dropped an scphotogs card for you. Anyway, it's jason@scphotogs.com

As to the Gaussian blur though, it was more of an off-handed jokey type thing just in an attempt to be witty on the low country blogroll. I guess it didn't translate well. Anyway, I'd always be welcome to learning new tricks on application of PS tools, so if you would like to share techniques there, by all means, drop me a line with the pic attached.

On the gaslight, I actually thought of going for Gaussian blur, but decided against it because of the look that I initially had in mind. As I said though, alternative interpretations are always welcome, so by all means, edit and share. If you like, the forum also has free image upload at http://www.scphotogs.com/forums , so perhaps we could get you onboard there too! :)

Thanks for looking though...

Jason, I saw on some blog or other that you were looking for how to do a Gaussian blur.

e-mail me. I did a quick and dirty one of your gas light, so I can explain it to you. (They can turn out much better than the one I did, I was just lazy with the cutting)
