Hiya Margo - indeed, I remember your generosity from out CG outing last year even though you couldn't make it then. Hopefully you and Heather will be able to meet up with us this go around! Hope your holidays were good. I'll probably make another post around the beginning of February as a reminder. Chuck also started a meetup group for photog-types, so stop over there and join up too. That link is at: http://photo.meetup.com/687/?a=wo1_gn

Jason,

Thank you so much. Sometimes Saturdays are tough for me with wedding season, but I am going to try to make it in February. Thanks for the update.

Hi Kelli,

You just missed the shoot for January - we went to Middleton Place. Quite the cold shoot, but got some good shots out of it. Feel free to join the forums (it's all free) to see the shots we share in there and to keep track of when future shoots are. Typically we meet on the third Saturday of each month, and we've got the schedule up for 2008 in there now. If you have any questions, comments or if there's anything I can help with - feel free to email me or stop in the forums. My address is jason [AT] scphotogs [DOT] com. Hopefully we'll see you in the forums and/or on the next shoot.

I've been looking a Photoshop and lots of the features and benefits of this program I don't think I'd ever use. Such as, for film, video, and multimedia professionals and graphic and web designers using 3D and motion, as well as professionals in engineering and science, Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended software delivers everything in Photoshop CS3 and more. Render and incorporate 3D images into your 2D composites. Stop time with easy editing of motion graphics on video layers. And probe your images with measurement, analysis, and visualization tools.

I think I'm looking for analysis and filtering and editing. Any suggestions??? I'm a new guy and don't intend to become a pro. I'm so new I guess i don't know waht I really need.

Thanks for you help. I'll buy the drinks after my first walk around!!!

Thanks,

John
